Guides

Everything for after the build is finished.

Touchscreen

What every page and button does, and the first boot setup that tells the enclosure which hardware you actually fitted.

Configuration

The enclosure reads two text files from the SD card. data.clu holds about 27 tuning values the touchscreen does not expose, covering servo angles, alarm thresholds and the temperature that forces the flap open. filament.clu is your spool library. There is also a CSV log of every sensor reading, if you want to plot what your printer is actually doing.

Calibration

Teaching the load cells what a gram is, and adding your own spools to the library. The first one is a build time job you do once, and the second you will do whenever you buy a new brand.

Software Upgrades

Firmware for the mainboard and for the screen, both from the SD card. No programmer needed.

Maintenance

Filters and fans. The enclosure tracks filter runtime for you and puts an icon on the screen when it is time.

Troubleshooting

Symptoms first. Start here if something is not doing what you expect.

Safety Systems

What the enclosure does automatically when it detects smoke, gas, or too much heat, and what it will not let you switch off by accident.
