Getting Started

Hi There

Welcome to the Clura Enclosure project! We are a small, passionate team of makers dedicated to creating the ultimate ecosystem for your 3D printer. This project is the result of countless hours of design, testing, and community feedback. We’re excited to have you on board! The Lead engineer of the project is Fabrizio, he’s the one who designed the Enclosure from scratch. If you have any questions feel free to reach out on our website or directly to him via email: Fabri@clura.dev

Compatibility

Clura is designed to be versatile. Currently, the following printers are compatible:

  • Prusa MK3/MK4 Series
  • Prusa Mini & Bambu Lab A1 mini
  • Bambu Lab A1 & Creality HI
  • Creality Ender 3 Series (V1, V2, S1 etc…)

Note: We’ve listed some popular models above, but Clura fits any printer of a similar size. Examples: Anycubic Kobra,SV06, RatRig Minion… Unsure if your printer fits? Reach out to us and we’ll check it for you!

License

Clura is proud to be Open Source. The project is released under the CC BY-NC (Attribution-NonCommercial) license.

NOTE: This means you are free to build, modify, and share the design, but you cannot use it for commercial purposes (selling kits or finished enclosures) without explicit permission.

We pledge never to enforce this license against individual makers who design and sell upgrades. In fact, we actively encourage this and offer our time and resources to help produce such upgrades through collaboration.

You can read our blog post about the license here .

Modularity and Upgrades

We built Clura to evolve. Modularity is at the core of our design philosophy. You can start with a Lite model and upgrade to Pro over time, or mix and match features to suit your needs. On Kickstarter you will be able to buy the full kit with all the Pro features included at the best price ever. Purchasing these kits from us will help us to continue developing the project and adding new features.

Check out our Upgrades section to see the latest feature requests and what we are currently working on.
